The object of the game is to be the first player to complete his retirement portfolio by collecting 6 tokens in each of three categories - Life Experiences, Health, and Assets - as you strive to reach Inner Peace. The first player to reach Inner Peace wins.
The game consists of a game board, 2 dice, 6 retirement portfolios, 6 game markers, a pad of wills, tokens in three colors, 6 resuscitation cards, and three decks of cards: Baby Boomer, Trivia, and Inner Peace.
| | Each player selects a game piece and places it on the Social Security space on the board. |
| | The youngest player is the token manager. |
| | The token manager gives each player a severance package consisting of a portfolio with two tokens for each of the three game categories (2 green Asset tokens, 2 blue Health tokens, and 2 purple Life Experience tokens), a resuscitation card and a will. |
| | Before the game begins, each player secretly completes a will by writing the name of another player on it (not a spouse) who will inherit his tokens in the event of landing on the Grim Reaper space without a resuscitation card and is forced to exit the game. Each player stores his will with his portfolio for safe keeping while playing the game. |
| | Tokens are awarded or forfeited depending on the action of each space. |
| | Rolling the dice determines the number of spaces to move. |
| | Players can enter one of the lanes toward Inner Peace only after collecting 6 tokens in each category. |
| | The first player to enter Inner Peace wins! |
